As I travel thur this life I often or should say daily, look for Gods promise, His blessing. Well today when I woke up, I was not in a good mood, and could have cared less about any-ones promise. As the day progressed I made A new friend, the guy I was painting for, got several calls at home on the recorder for new paint jobs, and just as I was wondering what was going on, I looked out my bedroom door and their was the most beautiful rainbow right in front of me. God has made us all A promise, we have to stop and see it sometimes—–I promise! 

ITS TIME TO MOVE AND WE WOULD LIKE FOR YOU ALL TO COME ON OVER AND SHARE THE DAY WITH US. I LOVE POP CORN , AND CANT WAIT TO SMELL IT SUNDAY MORNING, BUT REMEMBER, WE ARE SERVING UP MUCH MORE THAN THAT. JESUS CHRIST! SO SET YOUR CLOCKS AND COME ON FOLKS!

I get asked alot where I am at, especially at my other job. Every now and then I run into and old friend from an old church that ask me where am I with my faith, where are you at, with God? These types of questions really make you go home and do a self-eximanition, and really ask yourself, where is my walk? Well, my walk is often far-away, due to any one thing, money, work, kids, more work, etc.. you see, satan puts all these things in our schedule to take our focus off Christ. He will put all sorts of addictions in our way to deal with. We have to give him credit for taking the focus off Christ, hes good at it.

As Pastor Joe preached Sunday, what are we doing to build our relationship with Christ, and our family, and friends. What are we doing to keep our focus on Christ? Where are you? 

I would like to ask everyone to pray for Vikies Grandfather he is in the Hospital having major problems. Vikie got A new job, one that pays, ha.ha. Its been a long hot summer and things going on all the time it seems like. Just lift us up in prayer if u dont mind. Thanks and may God bless all your days to come.

GOD, who has made us, knows what we are and that our happiness lies in him. Yet we will not seek it in him as long as he leaves us any other resort where it can even plausibly be looked for. While what we call “our own life” remains agreeable we will not surrender to him…We are perplexed to see misfortune falling upon decent, inoffensive, worthy people-on capable, hard- working mothers of families or diligent thrifty little tradespeople, on those who have worked so hard, and so honestly, for their modest stock of happiness and now seem to be entering on the enjoyment of it with the fullest right…

     Let me implore the reader to try to believe, if only for the moment, that God, who made these deserving people, may really be right when he thinks that their modest prosperity and the happiness of their children are not enough to make them blessed: that all this must fall from them in the end, and that if thay have not learned to know him they will be wretchced. And therefore he troubles them,warning them in advance on an insufficency that one day they will have to discover… I call this a Divine humility because it is a poor thing to strike our colors to God when the ship is going down under us; a poor thing to come to him as a last resort, to offer up “our own” when it is no longer worth keeping. If God were proud he would hardly have us on such terms; but he is not proud, he stoops to conqur, he will have us even though we have shown that we prefer everything else to him, and come to him because there is ”nothing better” now to be had.

2 corinthians 1: 9    8-11

I was on an elivator the other day and when the doors closed I looked at the reflection and it was real fuzzy, and made me think, what do I look like to God. I realized as I was going down floor after floor that no matter what I think I look like, God sees me very clear. Im not fuzzy to HIM. Have A good day!

I was speaking to someone the other day, and I ask this person do you really trust God, and that he can heal your wounds, your mind, and your worries? Well, I was asking myself that same question all week long. Through the trials of life we tend to look to other people, things, and stuff to put our trust in, even-though we say we trust God, do we really? I know for me sometimes, I get so involved in one certain event that I allow it to consume my life, thus becoming my god. What ever we worry about the most is our god. Is GOD really our Lord and Master of our life if we allow ourselves to stay in this mindset. Trust God daily. Good Day!

Well the house did not sell, so we are going to sell it by owner and see where that goes. We have to move on because we have been in prayer for some time over money issues and we know its not Gods will to be in bondage to money. So pray that God will provide someone to come by and buy this house so we can keep moving on toward that higher calling, God.

Well the time is near for our auction of our house, and I have taken things down to the wire, the last minute. We or I should say, I have got A bunch of stuff left to do. Vikie has most of her stuff done, and is working on the kids stuff. I don’t know if I work better under stress or things just turn out that way. I have been really busy taking other things down to the wire, right down to the deadline. Sometimes I think we do that with God. We push ourselves into a corner and when its almost to late, we ask God to help. Lets keep God first, that way we want have to take things down to the wire, God will be there on the front end! I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY A WHILE BACK TO DO SOME WORK FOR THIS LADY , SHE HAD 2 SONS, ONE WHICH HAD A DISABILITY , THE OTHER A NORMAL 14 YEAR OLD. HER HUSBAND HAS BEEN DECEASED FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS. WHILE TALKING TO THIS PERSON I REALIZED SHE WAS UNDER A LOT OF STRESS. BOY WAS I WRONG, SHE WAS UNDER 10 TIMES MORE STRESS THAN I CARE TO MENTION. AFTER WORKING FOR HER FOR ABOUT 5 WEEKS I COULD SEE SHE WAS PUTTING THE STRESS ON HERSELF, NO ONE ELSE WAS DOING IT, JUST HER. SHE HAD CURSED ME OUT SEVERAL TIMES IN THOSE 5 WEEKS, WHICH TROUBLED ME GREATLY, TO THE POINT OF WHERE I WASN’T GETTING MUCH SLEEP THINKING OF HOW A PERSON COULD BE SO STRESSED, MEAN AND DOWN RIGHT NASTY. I REMEMBER ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS SHE WOULD PUT CHRIST IN THE MIX, AND TALK ABOUT CHURCH THEN TURN AND CURSE ME OUT 10 MIN. LATER. WELL I FINALLY CAME TO THE UNDERSTANDING SHE DID NOT KNOW CHRIST LIKE I KNOW HIM, AND SHE WAS STRESSED OVER MY RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST AND JUST HATED THAT I GUESS. WITH ALL THE EMOTIONAL BAGGAGE SHE IS LIVING WITH I ASK HER ONE DAY TO JUST SURRENDER IT TO GOD, STOP TRYING TO DO IT ON YOUR ON, AND SHE BECAME ENRAGED AND TOLD ME TO NEVER STEP ON HER PROPERTY EVER AGAIN. I DIDN’T. HOW DE YOU HANDLE THE STRESS IN YOUR LIFE? SURRENDER IT TO CHRIST TODAY, AND LET GOD HAVE IT ALL. I WILL PROMISE ONE THING, HE CAN HANDLE IT!
